To create and save a section model, position the cursor on the icon in the shape of three vertical dots and click on the last icon, in the shape of an arrow within a rectangle:
From this window, you can save the model. To do so, you must give the model a name. In the following example, we have named our model “First Model”:
Now click on the save icon to create the model. At the end of this process, the window will close automatically and the model will be added to the list of available models.
Once you have saved the model, all changes to the section will be blocked unless the user chooses to further edit the model in question.
Models / Edit
Click on the lock icon to start editing a model:
Now you can choose the model editing mode you prefer:
1. KEEP SYNCHRONIZED: in this case, all changes to the model will be shared with other synchronized models in the website; to correctly apply synchronized changes, save the model by clicking on the lock icon located in the top right side of the section toolbar. After completing this operation, the section will return to “locked” mode.
It is impossible to save the page while synchronized models are “open” and you will receive a warning when trying to do this.
2. INDEPENDENT: use this function if you no longer want to retain synchronized changes, and you therefore prefer to treat the model as a simple section.
Models / Insert
To insert a saved model in a page, click on the “box”-shaped icon in the top left part of the toolbar, and then click on the “BUTTONS” label:
This will open the list of saved models:
To insert a model, simply drag it from the list to the page:
It’s possible to change the model’s preview image, clicking on the icon (1):
After that, select an image from the media library and it will be automatically saved as models preview (2):
The model will appear in the list with its correspondent preview image:
Models / List / Remove
Click on the X button located in the top right part of a model to eliminate the model in question.
